What an incredible find! I booked a trip through Wild Bill’s web site – “Bassmex.com” for late May of 2001.
I have fished for bass all of my life and I never dreamed I would have the experience of a lifetime.
I caught more bass in 3 days than I have ever caught anywhere else. It was hot, but that didn’t interfere with the fishing.
One day alone, I caught 140 bass. Where can you go in the States and do that? I caught my largest of the trip, only 6 ½ lbs,
with a slow-rolling white spinner bait. The boat I was fishing in brought in bass that were all between 2 and 8 lbs .
There were several over 10 caught on that trip, however.
That was a trip that I will never forget and I actually booked more trips for the future.
